I had a great experience dining here! The cuisine is absolutely delicious — every dish we tried was full of flavor and incredibly satisfying. Our family was in the neighborhood touring the Cave of the Mounds and House on the Rock. We had a taste for Mexican eats..... This place was the Bomb . Great food , superb service, and very comfortable atmosphere . My wife had a seafood dish served in a large molcajete that was off the charts. Great burritos, tacos, and margaritas! Tha place was rockin' on a Saturday, prime dinner time, and service was stellar. Highly recommend

WOW!!!! My first time here but it is the talk of the town! Nice atmosphere, friendly and prompt staff, and most importantly, the food is delicious. They bring a side of chips and salsa to start. And, I ordered Nachos Al Carbon. It was a lot of food and just amazing! I can't wait to come back! Thank you for investing in this community and downtown!

I ordered for takeout. Had to go back to pickup the missing consume and beans. I gave them a 4 because it tasted like the meat had been reheated for our takeout order. So the meat was over all dry on all the tacos. Their spicy salsa and limes saved the flavor and moisture they were lacking. I’ve eaten here once before and then I would have given a 4 because there was just way too much cheese on everything which isn’t what I am used to when it comes to Mexican food but I get it, you need to cater to the area. For this takeout order we got the chicken, birria and steak/chorizo mix taco platters (3 taco orders total). Found it odd that the beans that came with the birria had hot dog slices in them. And the consume had a bit of a mild flavor compared to other places that use 2-3 types of chiles in their broth mix. Had the meat not been dry and they had not forgotten the beans and broth for the birria it might have brought them up to a 4. Maybe next time I’ll eat at the restaurant? Try them out for dinner when they are busy and that changes it to freshly made vs what tasted like microwaved dry meat. Saving grace was the rice and beans. Questioning if these are home made or from a can. But they’re solid for the area. And again the spicy salsa slaps.

During our visit to the area my wife and I were hungry for some great Mexican food and we found this restaurant. Corralejo is a nicely decorated place with a great atmosphere. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was amazing. I ordered the Seafood Molcajete which came in a large bowl full of veggies and seafood and side condiments of rice, guacamole, lettuce and sour cream. Along with some warm flour tortillas. As an appetizer we ordered the shrimp Queso Fundido - that was so good, I wanted to eat it like a soup. If you're in the area and hungry for Mexican give Corralejo a try, you won't be disappointed.

Wow!!! 5 stars isn’t enough here!! If you haven’t tried this restaurant you really need to! I work in Food safety and quality and this restaurant is the cleanest I have been in!! The atmosphere is very well lit with comfortable, well decorated seating in the waiting area as well as the dining areas with high chairs for kids as well. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The menu is very well put together with something for everyone!! You may want to check it out online first to save some time in trying to decide when you are there Our food and drinks were both above and beyond our expectations for this area. Presentation of the meal was amazing as well as the portion sizes with both of our meals being absolutely delicious Pricing is definitely reasonable for both the food and drinks! I even got to add my own tequila to my drink If you’re in the area check them out! I highly recommend them! AAA+++
